Stuart is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Wilmington with a degree in political science. He has been in the insurance industry for 30 years and is the president of the Stout Consulting Group, LLC, which specializes in wealth accumulation strategies and insurance planning. He and Shelby live in Weddington, NC and are the parents of daughters Austin and Holly and Hope Elizabeth Stout in whose memory the Foundation was created.

Shelby is a graduate of Kings College with a degree in medical office assisting. She has been a pre-school teacher at Matthews United Methodist Church since 1993 and is also vice president of the Stout Consulting Group, LLC. She is the mother of daughters Austin and Holly and Hope Elizabeth Stout.
Kevin is a former professional football player who spent 13 seasons in the NFL where he played with the Houston Oilers, Miami Dolphins, and the Carolina Panthers. Kevin has served on the March Forth With Hope Foundation board since its inception. He is also on the National Advisory Board for Make-A-Wish and is actively involved in the local Make-A-Wish chapter. Kevin and his wife, Erica, have three children and live in Charlotte, NC.
Jerry Gregory is a graduate of Fayetteville State University with a degree in business administration. Jerry was the president of Jerry Gregory & Associates, an insurance firm specializing in employee benefits, for 25 years. August, 2012, Jerry sold his book of business to Financial Directions Group, where he currently serves as a Sr. Benefit Consultant. After serving 21 years, active and reserves, he retired in 1996 with the rank of Captain, from the Air Force Reserve. He and his wife Sharon, live in Fayetteville, NC.
Lyndsey Stogdill is a graduate of the University of Richmond with a degree in Health and Sport Science. She is Director of Corporate Administration Services for Lowe’s Companies where she oversees the company’s global facility services, space planning and interior design, and branded apparel and promotional supplies programs. She and her husband Dave live in Cornelius with their daughter, Lacey
Jim is a graduate of Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA with a BA in Business Administration. Jim is an Account Executive for De Lage Landen Financial Services. He has served as a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central & Western North Carolina. For 10 years he held positions of Charlotte area Volunteer Chair, Board Secretary, and Board Chair. He and his wife, Celeste, have two children and live in Charlotte, NC.
Richard Zollinger, MD
Rick Zollinger M.D. is an Ohio native who graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He is retired cardiothoracic surgeon who now is the Southeast Medical Director for Diversified Clinical Services, a national wound care company. Dr. Zollinger also serves on the Board of the UNC Children’s Hospital and UNC/Chapel Hill Board of Visitors. He and his wife Elizabeth live in Charlotte and have 4 children.
Jan is a retired Registered Nurse of 40 years, practicing mainly at Novant Health, Charlotte. She has been a nurse volunteer for both Operation Smile and Health Talents International for the past 18 years, assisting doctors with cleft lip and palate surgery, and involved with March Forth with Hope since its inception, serving as a volunteer for the annual Golf Classic and Gala. She and husband Britton live in Waxhaw NC and are the parents of five children.
Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech with a major in accounting. He is the President and Founder of Independence Consulting, a leading management consulting company. With 25+ years of experience leading high-level consulting firms, this is the third business he has built. Mike is an executive producer of Hope’s Wish and a co-executive producer of the feature film adaptation of Dr. Reggie Anderson’s book Appointments with Heaven. Mike and his wife, Kelli, have three children and live in Davidson, NC.
